Pocky and Rocky 2: Fun arcade action, or dangerous story of rapist japanese demons?
The Pocky and Rocky series is one of those wacky series which would make most people scratch their heads in confusion. Thoughts might go through your mind, such as "How many pounds of drugs did they do to think of this stuff?". A lot, I'm sure.
Pocky and Rocky, the first game, seems safe enough. Nothing suggestive is going on there. It is just honest crazy action starring a little girl who tosses endless amounts of cards at enemies. And don't forget her raccoon friend, who has an endless amount of leaves to toss. Pocky and Rocky 2, on the other hand, takes a turn for the worse, and without restraint, we must wonder if this is a game about saving the princess, or a game about avoiding rape from thousands of japanese demons! |
The moment you first start the game, you are presented with a choice of partners. Obviously Rocky will not do, he's had his share of fame and glory. He also has a red mouth, and that is just scary. The ninja woman is useless, she just tosses cards and has a very short sword. Pocky can throw cards already, and her stick is much better than the sword. I don't know why the ninja girl exists in this game, other than to supply it with another female.
My friends, the only good choice here is the infamous Bomber Bob, who does not really use bombs. His bald head and strong body provides endless joy. Imagine, picking up large boulders and revealing cool items that were laying under them, like a coffee mug! That Pocky drinks without hesitation! I think a coffee mug being under a rock would turn me off, who knows how long it's been in there? In addition to throwing things that are not bombs, he can transform into a strange japanese symbol of some sort. This only happens when he impacts bosses. You see, when you throw your partner at a boss, the partner transforms into some strange super attacking thing. I'm not sure how colliding with bosses does that, but nothing in this game makes sense anyway. When he becomes a strange japanese symbol, he damages bosses as long as they touch it. What a guy! Not only can he reveal cool coffee mugs trapped under rocks, but he does continuous damage while a strange symbol! I don't know how he does it, he's just Bomber Bob. That's enough about Bomber Bob. As great as he is, this is not a game about him. I will be to the point here, this is a game about japanese rape demons. As early as stage 2, you must deal with frightening fox demons, the boss is particularly fearsome in that it sends little foxes after you.
As you can see in the screenshot to the left, this powerful seven-tailed fox has sent a minion out, which has strongly raped Pocky, and she is crying! I am sorry to subject you to such questionable material, but a powerful point needed to be made about this boss. I believe that the creators of the game are portraying the furry community in a bad way. Furries do not rape human girls with evil henchmen. They tend to do the job on their own. Why, this large seven-tailed fox would have just used his large masculine form to overpower Pocky at the start of the boss battle. Instead, he just tosses some fiery things at her while the little foxes try to have sex with her. How horrible. No wonder so many people think lowly of the furry community. Now, you may be thinking, "Gee, Cityhuntr, what you are saying is ridiculous and completely retarded, just like you!" but I haven't introduced the damage system of the game to you. I'll do that now, as it surely will convince you that this is a very sexual game. Pocky can be hit a maximum of three times during her adventure. The way you determine how many of these you have left is to see how much clothing she is wearing. Yes! The lesser the clothes she has, the closer you are to death! Death by violent rape!
Here are some more exciting screenshots from this questionable game.
And one more you have to see to believe! In conclusion, this is a very naughty game that should be played only by adults who understand the issues at hand. Rape is not a good thing, and we should not be influencing young minds with games like this. |
