Somewhat similar to skating, BMX allows you to go biking on a track where everything seems to go wrong. You can jump and do tricks in BMX, but it will most likely cause you to fall flat on your face, like the picture above demonstrates. As you can also see, the game gives you wonderful commentary, ranging from "bummer" to "try slowing down". Note that it tells you to slow down regardless of your speed. Tricks in BMX are done by jumping and pressing some buttons. In order to jump, the biking man suddenly is propelled in the air, and going in reverse. I have not seen people jump in the air this way and live, so who knows how he does it. Pressing buttons while airborne will cause your character to make some movements of any sort, which will usually end up making him crash. The only good thing I can think about BMX is that the biker's biking animation is played faster as he moves faster. Now that's ingenuity!
Our childhood memories are possibly revived in this pointless activity of throwing the disc correctly so that your friend may catch it. There is not much to say about flying disc. It uses a system of power and angle in order to determine the throw of the disc, which is revolutionary compared to every other sport in this game. When you have thrown it, you get to control the other person, who can do nothing but run back and forth. She also has a thrilling jump maneuver, which does nothing but make her fall over like an idiot. She never catches it while jumping, how imcompetant. I'm too tired to make up a witty rating for this game. I hate it, and I wish all of the teenagers would get off the streets and play this game all day, rather than proving just how badly they can screw up jumping off sidewalks with their skateboards. |
