I've been thinking of what I will be doing with Lucifer's Daughter once I finally get to that point in the series.

Though work on my current project (The Birth of the Universe) moves on, I have been considering that I will have to rewrite Lucifer's Daughter when I come to work on that again. It is not that I feel the current work is entirely bad, but it lacks something important. The reason for this is because the work has gone through so many revisions over such a long period of time that I think it has kind of lost it's edge and focus. Of course, it won't be a complete rewrite. I'm happy with a good deal of it, as a matter of fact. I think it just needs a fresh new start. One where it can focus on the important issues rather than sort of wobbling around trying to accomplish too much. By the time I do this, I'll have written two novels and an undoubtedly sizable amount of short stories as well. The experience will help me fine tune The Third Eye.

Or maybe I'll just revise it again, but with the intention of simplifying and focusing it more towards the main points. I don't know. It will be quite a while before I get to it, anyway. If I do rewrite, I'll never get rid of my current copy of the work. Even if I don't prefer it to be the work that people see in print, it means a lot to me as the first novel I had ever written.
