Things are going alright with school and work these days. There really isn't much to say about those two particular institutions. Typically by this point in the term I would be extremely frustrated or depressed with school, but it seems to be a different case this time. Could this be the happier sort of quarter that I haven't for quite a while, now? Admittedly I haven't always had perfect school terms, but this time is an improvement thus far. I hope it can stay that way as much as possible.

Despite the added workload of school, I have continued writing my story at a reasonable pace. I'm quite surprised, really, because school has been known to force suspension of the work for upwards of a week at times. Though I do hit roadbumps every now and then, not in terms of the actual writing but my ability to continue on with it considering my busy schedule. I'm never really sure if what I'm doing is a good thing. I know it's good practice, but is it really quality story telling? This is the sort of thing that is hard to determine when viewing one's own writing. The few people that bother to comment on it tell me that it's going well. I appreciate their words, but still a small doubt lingers in my mind whenever I think about the work in general. Nevertheless, I can't let it end prematurely. I've written ~50 thousand words so far, quite a lot for me, I simply can't stop after such an effort. The reason is probably because I really am strict when it comes to spending my free time. It would be annoying for all of those hours of work to have been for nothing. It must be the curse of getting older that I am obsessed with properly spending my limited leisure time.

You will also notice that I created another color scheme for this site. I tried to shoot for a dark with bright text scheme. I like it much better than what I had before (which is still available if you register to the site).

I'm also sick again. My immune system must be dying or something, because I'm getting things so frequently these days.

In conclusion I would suggest looking at the link in the main menu to the left, which says "Login/Information". It lists what sorts of things you can do if you waste your time creating an account on this website. It's not much, really, but it's a start.
